Spring API officially open for brokers in GreaterAlabamaMLS

Solid Earth announces its Spring API is now officially open to broker members of GreaterAlabamaMLS

[Huntsville, Alabama – November 25, 2013] The first phase of the GreaterAlabamaMLS project was released last summer at an event in Orange Beach, Alabama. There are additional phases in the project roadmap and today GreaterAlabamaMLS is pleased to announce the release of the next phase: an “MLS Plugin” called the Spring Application Programming Interface (Spring API).

The API provides real time, rules-based access to the MLS database and is available to broker members of the MLS starting today. In the near future the API will also be available to agents and third party application providers.

With the release of the API, GreaterAlabamaMLS and Solid Earth have created a new platform for innovation and interoperability, dramatically extending the feature depth of the broker’s information systems.

Through the API, broker members will have access to the MLS database in a new way, but the rules have not changed. Members will still have access to IDX, VOW and Broker data as usual but in a much better and more complete method.
